PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Eagles made it official on Thursday night. The team signed former Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray to a five-year deal. Murray took to the podium to be officially introduced to the fans and he wasted no time endearing himself to Philadelphia
.
“I felt this was a great opportunity for me to win a Super Bowl,” Murray said when asked why he chose to come to Philadelphia instead of staying with the Cowboys.
Murray explained that Philadelphia did not offer
him the most money, but that when he looked around he saw what he
identified as his best chance to win a ring. He made it clear that this
was not a financial move.
