With
that being said, excited young children found the black-mustached scholar as young at heart as they, thoughtful or troubled
girls and boys instinctively brought their doubts to Strother Jr., sure of
finding the gentlest understanding, the scholarly counsel.
Therefore, Strother Jr., a resident
of Yeadon Borough, Pennsylvania, has written a tale which may possibly become a
prize book.
Strother Jr.
has fully embraced writing this children’s book. He may become one of
the most cherished newest writers representing the Pennsylvania area.
In 2017, his first book to be published,
“Is-So Discovers Is-So,” is based on the life of a child that never heard a
kind or encouraging word. The book is an empowering, motivational, encouraging,
and uplifting children’s read aimed at youngsters who are afraid and insecure
and who have trouble realizing their dreams in life. Is-So Discovers Is-So
helps children to have more confidence and to tackle the many problems
that society may throw at them.
This book is a spiritual and
emotional landing spot for young readers. With this book Strother Jr. has found
a fun way to attract children who may be from any part of the world, allowing a
comfortable and productive routine to pursue positive creativity.
Strother Jr. has found a footing in
his books and music. He already had a solid music career being a freelance
singer and percussionist, performing with several bands in the Pennsylvania
area during the past 30 years. He has also traveled to Europe and performed
with the late Grover Washington Jr.’s band in 1979 and the early 1980’s.
He is also known as Mr. Bob Conga
when he plays and sings songs together for young and old audiences.
His music skill has helped him to
launch a children’s music CD, entitled: “Encourage the Courageous.” This is a
CD with a different approach to encourage and uplift all children by providing
them with a positive message that will encourage them to become productive
citizens, in spite of their backgrounds. This CD is also an accompaniment to
the Is-So Discovers Is-So book.
Strother Jr. appreciates the balance
of music and friendliness in his writing and has enjoyed his voice from one
book and song to the next. He helps kids to be prepared for some tough issues
early on in life.
Aware of the importance of
storytelling using music and writing in his life, Strother Jr. mentors
kids on artwork, music, writing and developing the confidence to express
themselves when they hear the words, “This child is so…”
This book will push children to
overcome insecurities so they can reach for their dreams. For more info about
