Phillies Turn To Kendrick In Series Opener With Reds

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Phillies will look to snap a three-game losing streak tonight as they welcome the Cincinnati Reds to Citizens Bank Park for the opener of a three-game series.
Kyle Kendrick will get the ball for the Phillies. The right-hander hasn’t won a game since August 6th of last season, although he has pitched pretty solid baseball here in 2014. In 7 starts, Kendrick is 0-3 with a 3.98 ERA.
In his career against the Reds, Kendrick is 3-3 in 9 starts with a 4.41 ERA.
